'All phones and shirts come from China' is false — India assembles phones at massive scale and exports garments. But the site oversells it: only ~23% of a phone's value is added domestically (The Hindu; Rajan calls it 'only assembling'). So RG is wrong on the absolute, right on the dependence; the site is right on the absolute, misleading on the depth.
